James G. Otto, AIA, NCARB will be the Principal – In – Charge of all projects, assuming direct responsibility for all aspects of client service and will be personally involved and lead all phases of the projects. He brings value added knowledge to the project team from over 37 years of diverse professional experience which includes extensive experience with public and private sector projects. Jim’s unique combination of design sensitivity, technical knowledge, and business and management skills (with a proven history of successfully managing complex Project Teams and politically sensitive projects) will allow him to lead the project team to successful implementation of functional, architecturally sensitive and technically appropriate design solutions.
Project Teams are structured expressly for each client / project and managed to function in a manner that allows for providing timely personalized service through integrated staff sharing under a single project manager. James Otto will be the single point of contact ensuring seamless communication between the design team and the owner’s representatives as well as within the design team. The firm’s strategy for project staffing allows James G. Otto Architect, LLC to offer” best value” project teams and services by utilizing independent contractors specifically selected based on experience, talents and previous relationships to meet the needs of each project and client. The firm currently has five independent contractors on-call with talents / skills including design, document production, specifications preparation, rendering and graphics. James G. Otto Architect, LLC also utilizes independent specialty consultants for Structural, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical Engineering, Food Service and Commercial Laundry selected to meet the project requirements.
